Born November 29, 1961, she passed away peacefully in the presence of her family and friends on June 21, 2014 at age 52; beloved daughter of Janet E. (nee Neff) Newsome of Rocky River, OH; dearest mother of Margaret A. Battaglia and the late Amy C. Battaglia; dear sister of Patricia A. Newsome of Munroe Falls, OH, Mary Lynn Newsome of Cleveland Heights, OH, Robert Storm of Anchorage, AL, James P. (Kathleen) Harkin-Newsome of South Euclid, OH and Victoria M. Newsome of Rocky River, OH; former wife of Dr. Michael J. Battaglia; also survived by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, devoted friends, care givers and her beloved pets. There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Dominic, 3450 Norwood Road, Shaker Heights, OH 44122.
